STOUPE BROW & BECK
Off the beaten track and sitting atop the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Stoupe Brow descends through rugged and dramatic terrain to a final 130 steps that will take you down to a long sandy beach nestled in the centre of Robin Hoods Bay, it offers a unique perspective of this iconic coast line.
WALKS
The outward leg is mainly on the track bed of the former railway line to Scarborough, while the return leg along the cliff is more strenuous and includes two steep climbs using steps.
There are some quiet roads to cross and the final section in Robin Hood's Bay can be busy at holiday times or weekends. There are no stiles to negotiate, but you will need to use several flights of steps.
Appropriate footwear, warm layers, and sun protection are required for this trail. The trailhead car park is pay and display.
